Fond marin méditerranéen envahi par l'algue "Caulerpa racemosa" var. "cylindracea", à la Gabinière, parc national de Port-Cros. Cette espèce introduite d'origine australienne, découverte en Lybie en 1990, a depuis envahi les fonds marins de treize pays méditerranéens et ceux de toutes les grandes îles de la mer Méditerranée. Son expansion se poursuit actuellement.
