The ICGM plays a key role in the development of research in Chemistry, with the aim of developing and characterizing complex functional materials with a significant impact in the fields of health, the environment and energy. The UMR's project is structured around five themes: molecular materials, macromolecular materials, porous and hybrid materials, materials for energy and theoretical physical chemistry.

Présentation des lauréats du Cristal collectif du CNRS 2022. Livré en avril 2021, le bâtiment Chimie Balard Recherche à Montpellier accueille depuis janvier 2022 l'ensemble des personnels et des équipements de recherche de deux unités qui développent la chimie de demain.
