The PNIO team, laureate of the CNRS collective crystal 2024
Based at the Plouzané site of the CNRS Earth & Universe Technical Division, the National Oceanographic Instrumentation Park (Parc National d'Instrumentation Océanographique, PNIO) provides the scientific community with a set of 800 state-of-the-art instruments for coastal and deep-sea research.
The PNIO team supports every step of the way, from equipment preparation to post-deployment monitoring and operations at sea, guaranteeing high-quality data collection. For oceanographic projects, the team also designs experimental set-ups specifically adapted to the instruments and scientific questions.
