Gildas Brégain is the laureate of the CNRS bronze medal 2023
Gildas Brégain is a specialist in the transnational history of disability. He is interested in the construction of public disability policies on several scales, and in the players involved, particularly in Latin America, North Africa and Western Europe.
By shedding light on the role of associative mobilizations, he aims to ensure that disabled people are recognized as subjects in the history of these different countries.
