Plateforme PLANAQUA, at CEREEP

PLANAQUA is a national experimental platform in aquatic ecology. It focuses on the experimental ecological study of continental aquatic systems.
It includes sixteen artificial lakes, with a volume of 750 m3, equipped with automatic instrumentation, allowing researchers to work in conditions very close to nature. It is attached to the CEREEP (Centre de recherche en écologie expérimentale et prédictive) - Ecotron IleDeFrance, established on the Foljuif site, in Seine-et-Marne.

CNRS Images,

Our work is guided by the way scientists question the world around them and we translate their research into images to help people to understand the world better and to awaken their curiosity and wonderment.
