At the Institute of materials in Nantes

At the IMN in Nantes, scientists are synthesising materials to produce hydrogen used as a storage medium for renewable energy. Hydrogen is not a primary energy source, but an "energy carrier". First it has to be converted into dihydrogen, so that it can then be transported, stored and finally used to generate energy.

CNRS Images,

Our work is guided by the way scientists question the world around them and we translate their research into images to help people to understand the world better and to awaken their curiosity and wonderment.
