In Barbeau forest
It is in the heart of the Barbeau forest, in Seine-et-Marne, that a team of scientists from the ESE laboratory installed several years ago a 35 m high pylon, equipped with sensors that measure the exchanges of matter (CO2, H2O) and energy between the forest ecosystem and the atmosphere. These sensors also make it possible to observe the state of health of the forest in a context of climate change.

Our work is guided by the way scientists question the world around them and we translate their research into images to help people to understand the world better and to awaken their curiosity and wonderment.
