Le projet Dispersion des métaux de la mine au lagon s'intéresse aux poussières atmosphériques et aux particules transportées par ruissellement, qui accompagnent ces activités minières, en particulier à leur caractérisation physique et chimique. La dispersion des métaux dans l'environnement est étudiée en utilisant en premier lieu des lichens comme bioindicateurs des émissions atmosphériques, mais aussi des séquences sédimentaires permettant d'aborder l'impact minier sous un aspect historique.
