PLASTIGAR project

To better characterize plastic pollution in continental waters, the PLASTIGAR (Plastique Garonne) project, which involves scientists from several Toulouse laboratories, plans to carry out spatio-temporal monitoring over three years in the upstream part of the Garonne catchment area. The objective is to attempt to measure the potential impacts on aquatic biodiversity and the functioning of freshwater ecosystems.
