Start-up Tiamat
Tiamat designs, develops and produces batteries using sodium ions in an industrial standard format.
These batteries will be able to overcome some of the limitations of lithium-ion batteries, which are currently dominant, such as recharging speed, life span and production cost. Based in Amiens, this young company, which emerged from the French Network on Electrochemical Energy Storage (RS2E) supported by the CNRS, now has several dozen functional prototypes. Some of them, notably an electric scooter, will be present on the CNRS stand.
CNRS Images,
Our work is guided by the way scientists question the world around them and we translate their research into images to help people to understand the world better and to awaken their curiosity and wonderment.
