Synthèse de diamant en couche mince par dépôt chimique en phase vapeur. La synthèse s'effectue à basse pression dans un mélange gazeux d'H2 et de CH4 à 880° qui est excité par un champ microonde pour former un plasma (lumière blanche sur la photo). L'échantillon sur lequel croît le diamant est au milieu de ce plasma.
