Mise en place d’un flacon contenant un mélange d'acides gras sur le passeur automatique d’un chromatographe. Cet appareil permet de réaliser une chromatographie en phase gazeuse, couplée à de la spectrométrie de masse. La chromatographie en phase gazeuse (GC) sépare les composés d’un mélange en fonction de leur volatilité et la spectrométrie de masse (MS) sert à identifier les composants, d’après leur spectre de masse.
