Structure autoportée du bâtiment du Laboratoire de métrologie magnétique en champ faible (LMMCF). Situé à Herbeys, à 10 km sur les hauteurs de Grenoble, ce centre de mesure bénéficie naturellement d'un environnement magnétique terrestre très stable. La structure en aluminium du toit et sous le bâtiment, qui mesure 26 m de long, contient des câbles de cuivre, permettant la création de n'importe quel champ magnétique, de façon très homogène et précise dans un volume important.
