Le réseau d'antennes du radar HF de Stokkseyri en Islande. Ce radar est destiné à l'étude de la circulation du plasma de l'ionosphère et de la magnétosphère terrestre dans les régions aurorales et polaires où cette circulation est particulièrement active. Avec un système similaire installé aux îles Kerguelen, il fait partie du réseau multinational SuperDARN (Dual Auroral radar Network) qui couvre les hautes latitudes des hémisphères nord et sud.
