Remplissage de tubes d'acier, pour la construction du pont des Ibis au Vésinet, Yvelines, le 27 juin 1930. Office national des recherches scientifiques et industrielles et des inventions (ONRSII). Ces tubes combinés au béton armé doivent permettre de renforcer la résistance de la structure. L'acier est mélangé à du gravier pour rendre les barres plus souples. Ainsi, elles supportent une plus forte déformation sans céder et retrouvent quasiment leur longueur primitive, suite à la pression subie.
