Laboratoire plasma et conversion d'énergie (LAPLACE)

TOULOUSE CEDEX 9

The research conducted at Le Laplace ranges from the study of the physical mechanisms of energy conversion to the systems that implement them, and is therefore at the heart of the concerns of the energy transition. The main fields of application include the production, transport, management, conversion and use of electricity. The laboratory is a stronghold of research in electrical and plasma engineering in France and covers the "plasma/materials/systems" continuum in an integrated manner.

Observing and understanding nature better to replicate its genius... This is not a new idea but the concept of bio-inspiration now appears to be more than ever a major trend for innovation. In health, robotics, ecology, chemistry, engineering sciences, etc., CNRS researchers will show you their research and its applications which were inspired by nature. Welcome to the bio-inspired world!

CNRS Images,

Our work is guided by the way scientists question the world around them and we translate their research into images to help people to understand the world better and to awaken their curiosity and wonderment.
