Maïdo atmospheric observatory
In a context of growing public and political awareness to climate change, scientists are continually monitoring the atmosphere. Its composition is analyzed in great detail to understand how the various gases and particles that make it up affect our planet. Joining this international effort is the new Maïdo Observatory, on the West Coast of Réunion Island in the Indian Ocean.
CNRS Images,
Our work is guided by the way scientists question the world around them and we translate their research into images to help people to understand the world better and to awaken their curiosity and wonderment.
