Produce white light with very low energy consumption
The aim of the ZEOLIGHT project is to incorporate boron nitride into zeolite to develop a prototype LED (Light Emitting Diode) which, together with conventional phosphors, produces white light with very low energy consumption.
Unlike conventional LEDs, this composite emits in the deep ultraviolet without emitting in the blue part of the light spectrum. It offers improved properties compared with conventional materials based solely on boron nitride.
This report was produced and financed as part of the "Science Avec et Pour la Société" (SAPS) call for projects.
