The first part of the unedited recording of the interviews of the morning of the first day (7 November 1983) of the 8th International Symposium of the Centre for Arctic Studies, chaired by Jean Malaurie, director of the centre. The theme is the axis of the earth, its geophysics, geography and mythical history.
