PEPSEA: plastics in Guadeloupe

PEPSEA is an interdisciplinary research project that aims to determine the life-cycle of micro- and nano-plastics. PEPSEA focuses on the study of mangrove swamps, zones that are susceptible to play a key role in the micro- and nano-plastics environmental fate and impact. The team went to Guadeloupe to study two mangrove swamps: one directly impacted by human activity, and one influenced by the current from the oceanic gyre. PEPSEA involves the participation of five different partners.
