Electroencephalographic mapping, adapted by Pierre Etevenon, uses a computer to process and display recordings of EEG activity. The technique is used in a psycho-physiological study of sleep: EEG activity is recorded throughout the night, the subject being wakened several times to relate his or her dreams.
