A 13.5 day-old mouse embryo observed using multicolour confocal microscopy, in which the blood cells have been immunomarked in red and green and the group 3 innate lymphoid cells (which play a key role in tissue remodelling) are marked in blue. The embryo measures approximately 1 cm in length.
