Préparation d'un tube rempli de beurre de cacahuète qui sera ensuite donné à un babouin

Preparation of the so-called tube task, which consists of filling a tube with peanut butter and then giving it to a baboon. The baboon then manipulates this tube with both hands to remove the food. This experiment is used to measure the baboons’ manual preferences. It demonstrated that they are predominantly right-handed, in the order of 61%. These baboons live in an enclosure near Rousset, in the Bouches-du-Rhône (France).
