Ecran de contrôle des cages d'auto-administration. Le logiciel utilisé permet de détecter le comportement des rats et de commander un pousse-seringue qui délivre une injection de drogue grâce à un cathéter intrajugulaire. Il peut créer un nombre infini d'exercices différents pour étudier les divers aspects de la dépendance aux drogues, tels que la prise, la recherche, la motivation et la résistance à la punition.
