Simulation numérique du comportement d'une nappe de tenségrité de grande taille (générée par duplication de 2304 modules lévogyres). Les systèmes de tenségrité sont des structures non conventionnelles formées par des barres et câbles articulés dans un état d'autocontrainte. Représentation suivant la verticale du niveau de sollicitation dans les éléments constitutifs : compression dans les barres (en bleu) et tension dans les câbles (en rouge). Malgré un chargement au delà des limites de service (plus de 20 % des câbles sont complètement détendus), la structure conserve une réserve de rigidité.
