Ebullition en azote autour d'un fil. L'étude porte sur l'identification des mécanismes de transfert de chaleur associés à la mise en place de l'ébullition (conditions transitoires). Les essais sont réalisés sur des fils en azote liquide, la température du bain étant égale à -196°C. L'utilisation de fils de nature, diamètre ou état de surface différents, a montré que le "flux minimum" apparaît comme un paramètre important. Grâce à la visualisation, il est possible d'identifier la structure d'ébullition présente en ce flux. Cette structure qui varie selon les fils est une combinaison d'ébullition en film (poches) et d'ébullition nucléée (bulles).
