Symptômes d'anthracnose sur une plantule de haricot commun. Le cycle infectieux du champignon filamenteux Colletotrichum lindemuthianum, agent responsable de l'anthracnose (maladie affectant le haricot commun), constitue un modèle de choix pour l'étude des interactions plantes-champignons pathogènes. La recherche et la caractérisation des gènes cibles contrôlés par l'activateur transcriptionnel CLTA1 (C. lindemuthianum transcriptional activator 1) devraient apporter des éléments sur les fonctions nécessaires à la mise en place et au développement de la phase du cycle infectieux responsable de la destruction des tissus végétaux et donc des dégats causés aux cultures par ces champignons.
