Couleuvre, "Calabaria reinhardti" (Colubridae), Gabon. Ce serpent terricole, long de 75 à 84 cm, apparemment sans tête ni queue, se nourrit de termites et de fourmis. Au moindre danger, il s'enroule en boule comme un très gros ver et fait le mort.
