Réchaud Richard avec le levier relevé pour la marche en veilleuse présenté au Salon des appareils ménagers le 22 décembre 1923. Ce réchaud comporte un doseur d'air automatique et un brûleur incliné, de façon à chasser les produits de la combustion du côté opposé à celui de l'opérateur. Un système de manette permet l'ouverture du gaz dès qu'un objet est posé dessus. Le Salon des appareils ménagers est organisé à l'initiative de Jules-Louis Breton, directeur de l'Office national des recherches scientifiques et industrielles et des inventions (ONRSII).
