Seismergomètre ou ergomètre de M. Piette, fabriqué par M. Richard, photographié le 6 juin 1930. Office national des recherches scientifiques et industrielles et des inventions (ONRSII). L'appareil mesure les vibrations par les propriétés hydrauliques d'ajustage convergent-divergent et il peut avoir divers usages. Il peut notamment mesurer le sentiment de confort ressenti par les passagers d'un véhicule, ou l'impact des vibrations sur les chaussées lors du passage de ce dernier. Une application physiologique est aussi possible pour l'étude de la fatigue. L'homme tient l'appareil bras tendu. Dès qu'il tremble, l'appareil le signale par un tracé.
