Ce paysage lunaire est celui d’une rupture. De la rupture d’une pièce de titane plus exactement, étudiée avec attention par les scientifiques qui veulent en comprendre les causes. L’énigme a été résolue : les "cratères" révèlent en fait des grains de poudre métallique qui n’ont pas fondu durant la fabrication de la pièce, devenant les talons
d’Achille de la pièce. Cette image fait partie des lauréats du concours Mécapixel 2021.
