Noeuds de calcul du supercalculateur Turing, nommé ainsi en l'honneur du mathématicien Alan Turing et hébergé par l'IDRIS au bord du plateau de Saclay. Ce supercalculateur est composé de 6 144 noeuds de 16 coeurs, soit 98 304 coeurs à 1,6 GHz. Sa puissance de crête est de 1,258 PFlop/s (1,258 million de milliards d'opérations en virgule flottante par seconde). Chaque coeur compte 1 Go de mémoire, ce qui donne un total de 96 Tio de mémoire distribuée. Conçu par IBM, ce supercalculateur Blue Gene/Q a été acquis en 2012 par le Genci (Grand équipement national de calcul intensif) et a été opéré jusqu'en 2019 par l'IDRIS. À titre indicatif, le gain de performance observé pour une application donnée était en général de 20 à 50 % entre Babel, l'ancien supercalculateur de la génération Blue Gene/P, et Turing.
