Shareholding of the French public centers CNRS and CEA, SOLEIL is the French synchrotron radiation laboratory. A high-technology facility, SOLEIL is both a source of electromagnetic radiation covering a wide range of wavelengths (from infrared to X-rays), a research laboratory at the cutting edge of experimental techniques dedicated to the analysis of matter down to the atomic scale, and a service platform open to all scientific and industrial communities.

CNRS Images,

Our work is guided by the way scientists question the world around them and we translate their research into images to help people to understand the world better and to awaken their curiosity and wonderment.
