The ISM has developed a renowned expertise in the multidisciplinary approach to the mechanisms underlying complex motor behavior and cognition, physiology, sociology and biomechanics. He also has expertise in the field of virtual reality, biomimicry and biorobotics. ISM focuses on the study of movement from different scientific approaches. The laboratory’s main area of research concerns the study and modeling of human movement.

The GenderRecov project investigates the influence of gender on the kinetics of structural and functional recovery in amateur runners after an endurance race with elevation changes.

Scientists are inspired by birds, insects and fish to optimize the movement and operation of drones and mobile robots.

The Institute of Movement Science (ISM) study the mechanical, physiological, neurological, psychological and sociological determinants of the motricity of living beings, human in particular. In these photographies, the scientists study sport moves and athletic performances.
