Given the abundance of health-related information, developing critical thinking skills is essential. Assessing the reliability of sources, understanding statistical data, how it is processed and modelled, as well as identifying misinformation and cognitive biases, enables us to better assess risks and inform our decisions. Studying the circulation of information on social media, the scientific method and the accessible communication of research findings all help to build a more reliable and widely shared body of health information.
