Prosthetics aim to replace or supplement a function by improving performance, comfort and integration. Collaborative robots can assist with certain movements, whilst brain-machine interfaces use neural activity to control devices. At the intersection of biology, engineering, electronics and computer science, this research seeks to better cater to each individual’s abilities, uses and needs.
Our work is guided by the way scientists question the world around them and we translate their research into images to help people to understand the world better and to awaken their curiosity and wonderment.
