View the mediaArtificial intelligence and data science are transforming research and medicine by analysing large quantities of images, signals and biological or clinical data. They contribute to diagnosis (particularly through image analysis) to the modelling of molecular interactions, to the identification of drug candidates and to the personalisation of treatments. However, their use raises major ethical issues: identifying and reducing bias, protecting data and ensuring that tools are transparent, reliable and fair.
Our work is guided by the way scientists question the world around them and we translate their research into images to help people to understand the world better and to awaken their curiosity and wonderment.
